Moniruzzaman Moni, PhD, P.Eng., is a structural engineer with nearly two decades of experience delivering bridges, buildings, transportation infrastructure, and complex structural systems across Canada and Bangladesh.
He currently serves as a Senior Structural Engineer with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, where he provides technical leadership in bridge rehabilitation, consultant procurement, engineering review, construction support, and long-term asset management.
His professional experience spans bridge engineering, structural assessment, rehabilitation, buildings, hospitals, utility structures, nuclear facilities, and transportation infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the planning, analysis, design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of a wide range of public and private infrastructure projects.
His background combines engineering consulting, government service, academic research, field engineering, and project management, enabling him to approach structural engineering challenges from both technical and practical perspectives.
